If you’re a Colorado local, I’m very excited to share a fun event happening this weekend! I’ve been invited to speak at the first ever Geek Girls Night Out in Colorado Springs! Join us August 23rd at 6 pm at Escape Velocity (19 E Bijou Street, Colorado Springs). The event has a ladies focus, but everyone is welcome!
In addition to a Q&A with me, there’s a lot of fun activities and great sales that they’re running! There will be a book club, and for anyone who would like to participate, they’ve selected 3 titles for recommend reading: Rat Queens Volume 1 - Sass and Sorcery, Black Widow Volume 1 - The Finely Woven Thread, and Batwoman Volume 1 – Hydrology. You can pick up a copy of these titles at either store for 25% off, if you don’t have one already. They will also have wine (for those over 21) and cupcakes available.
