Want to join the FLEET? Send a note to #MOKO-OCT and let us know what team you'd like to join!
We can't wait to have you on the Team!!
MANY THANKS To Tom Racine of Tall Tale Radio, who elevated this humble offering with the addition of his glorious vocal talents. Please check out the TTR podcast -- It's one of my personal favorites, and fantastic for anybody interested in the comic business!
Music: "Onward to War!" from GriffinLancer at NewGrounds Peppy background music for Tom by me. Harmonizing with my own self.
This is my first attempt, ever, with Flash. It may also be my last attempt at flash! XD I take solace in the fact that it IS, at least, functional. I hope you guys enjoy it!
I like the sound of Ambassador. I love brainstorming with people on story ideas and the like, and it seems most fun. Is it as flexible as you've mentioned Historian to be?
Hm, sounds interesting, then again, I am carrying alotta Derideal work to help another forum in their adventures... Then again I can improve my work after getting kicked out of TheCityOct for not having a proper story... Then school work is carried on my back.... Then I could have fun on this...Choices Choices...
I will think about it. Not saying I will join or will not.
Will this be one of those "never ending" groups that has a tournament every year and have players battle, RP, or whatever whenever they want without the group having to end a year after?
The FLEET group and our OCTs are linked, but separate.
The OCT will change every year. It will have its own competitors, setting, cast, etc. It is a competitive group. It has strict deadlines and a set schedule.
The FLEET is continuous. It provides support for each OCT (round summaries, community events, RPs, brainstorming chats, etc.) but is NOT competitive in any way. It is free-flowing, and people decide for themselves how involved they want to be.
EXAMPLE: My name is Robin. I want to be part of the OCT and part of the FLEET! (1) I make an Original Character named Frost and audition for the OCT. If I make it past Auditions, I'll be entered into the rounds and compete just like a normal OCT. (2) I also want to be part of the FLEET Historian Team to do round summaries. I send #MOKO-OCT a note! They say: "Awesome! Welcome to the team!" And shazam, I am in the FLEET. Since I worked really hard on my audition, I don't feel like I can handle a ton of extra work right now work, so I sign up to summarize only two entries. I also think it would be fun to have a FLEET Avatar character, so I make a robot character and name it "The Robinot".
I hope that answers your question! Please let me know if you need any more info! Thanks!
I liked this just as much as the youtube video.
