I'm so happy with how this page came out. I really wanted to try something a little different for this upcoming segment, and I think the combination of natural media and computer coloring turned out really well. The mood matched perfectly with what I wanted, and the colors really came together well.
LeyLines is a mystery/fantasy story that begins after the apparent suicide of the High Sage's wife. Yet the riddles of Dreameater, trickster god of knowledge, hint that there might be more to her death than meets the eye. Her children must unravel the will of the gods and escape the coils of conspiracy to prevent the peace their father forged from falling apart!
LeyLines is now 40 pages in, so if you haven't read it yet, now is a really good time to take a look! Just enough for you to get an idea of the story, but not so much that it's overwhelming to read!

Ffhh, I really wanted to write a bit about my reading experience in this comment, but I'll keep that for later. ... hopefully not too much later. But eh...
So, instead you'll have to put up with a short comment on the picture alone. I think the pencil lines are great for your style of coloring. It looks really, really good. The cross-hatching has also been a good choice, I like the effect it gives a lot!
You also get my respect for pulling off the characters' interaction so well, it feels very natural. And also for the expressions and body language, they really get the happiness across.
