This is Manabohzo, the trickster Native American hare god for ~tea-for-me's contest. Since almost every culture has a rabbit god, I decided that the Great Hare of all cultures would be the same one. After all, this trickster can assume many faces. Why not many places at the same time?
The words around him read: "I be everywhere an' everyone. Thousand places, thousand faces. I be a Brah 'n Africa, th' Great Hare ol' Yaruba. I b'n down ta Wonderland an' once was El-Ahrairah. I was raised in a Briar patch an' gotta space on da face o' deh Moon. I can be most anyone, a fox, a crow, a coon. I coulda' been yo' ol Grama jus' yester afternoon. My tricks 'r' allus th' best, and I c'n steal yo' face. Trickster, Creator, secret taker, Manabozho be my name." |
