Quick sketches of expressions for Manny. Or maybe I should call him Zho. Manny would probably piss him off. Or amuse him. Or both, depending on the day. Damn shapeshifting gods. So unstable.
I've never had a character that I considered somewhat ugly. I mean, my rendition of Manabozho isn't all Fugly, but he's not all that pretty either. He has two huge teeth, one of them gold, prominent nose and chin, and a disposition that's not all that nice. He's petty and arrogant and likes to mess with people's heads just for the fun of it. It's just interesting to draw.
So yeah, there's some reference for you. The ears down. He didn't like it when I tried to put them up. Got all snippy. Rotten rabbit god. I'm gonna call him Manny just to piss him off. He deserves it. <n_n>
Don't you hate it when dA posts the same comment twice?
Anyway, yeah, it may just default to Jamaican because I don't know exactly what the "New Orleans" accent is like (see, that's what N'Olins is, hahaha).
Don't worry, I don't think he gets killed yet, but he might. It treacherous being a god, I'm telling you.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
