Page 13:
Mmmmm....if I had the time to paint every page, I would. I love natural media!! Sadly, that would take forever and a day. Still, I'm really glad I had the time to sneak this page and the first page in round two. Unlike page one, which was in acrylic, this was painted with gouache, which is kinda like a compromise between watercolor and acrylic. Also, yay symbolism and blood! My two favorite things to draw...Frost's mother makes her second appearance, keeping all the roses for herself and binding Frost with the thorns, but under all the cold and hurt is warmth, carefully sheltered and hidden away.

Page 14:
BWOOMF! One of Frost's ability's is to make a cloud of steam. While he could follow up this move with an attack, she's shouting her crazy German Magic Words again and his hands and face have no particular wish to stick around and see what else is going to blow up in his face. Tactical retreat, kthxbai.

Page 15:
I really, really, REALLY like how her eye came out. Other than that...I don't have a ton to say. This page doesn't need much explanation.

Page 16:
Most of the time, we don't get to see Frost's thoughts. I find it funny that, of the few times we do, he's just yelling at himself in his head. Frost does this a lot. No, seriously, A LOT.

Hehe, I yell at myself in my head too ^^ If I'm alone I sometimes do it aloud too. What? It's totally normal *shifty eyes*. Anyways, another beautifully orchestrated entry :D I love that we get just a glimpse of Collin from Frost's POV in that first page. Just wonderful. Makes me wonder where he is, and if he's okay... Poor boy. Also, well done with Frost's hands. That'd suck, eh. I want to know what happens next ^^

You're in good company. Sometimes I have three-way conversations with myself (selves?) in my head. Which usually starts with one beating up, one defending, and one trying to rationalize it all. Typically I devolve into laughing about the fact that I'm having a conversation so stupidly convoluted inside one mind.

...That sounds a lot crazier when I write it out.

I may or may not have an Epilogue showing what Collin is up to. Haven't made up my mind on that yet.

Great minds think alike, or so they say ^^ Laughter at one's own mental antics is also completely normal. Being asked about it, however, is almost always awkward XD

Feel in no way obligated to do so ^^ I'm happy to see him at least once in this one, especially with such adorable undertones (like the touch of the two steaming cups on the table. Tres cute ^^)

The detail of his wounds is amazing. <3 Each set I see, I'm liking more and more how this round is turning out. Rhia making connections between Frost and herself makes the match look more personal and less like a mindless bloodthirsty duel; I like that.

The characters have a lot of similarities. Rhi's situation is what Frost's could become. She knows what he fears, because she's living it.

At least, that's how I see it.
