[link]Now, one question you might be asking: Why would Frost have problems killing somebody? He kills people ALL THE TIME!! True, he does, but Frost DOES have rules.
[link] One of them is to not mess with people who don't deserve it. Furthermore, Frost is a VERY good judge of character on an instinctive level, and EVERYTHING he's getting from his instincts says that Moscorn doesn't deserve to be on his kill list. His fears, of course, say otherwise, and demand that he compromise his principles and instincts in service to them.
So yeah, it's a big deal for him.
Thankfully, we have Rhi show up convieniantly to remind him that there is more to life than fear. There's friendship. And the Power of LUUUUURRRVE. Awwwwww...
...
All right. Who was it? Who was responsible for making me into a hopeless romantic?
It was YOU, wasn't it? WASN'T IT?
KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
And possibly

and her ridiculously wonderful character.

"Stab her, STAB HER!! Then say the line... SAY THE LINE!!"
I'm waiting for a cool catch phrase like "Chill out bitch" or "You can only kick a dog so many times before it bites you" or something...
"In the face, IN THE FACE!!!"
Okay, I'm just going to sit over there for a while and try not to wet myself waiting for the finale.
Although I always preferred JIF, myself.
Anyhow--I do love how his mom becomes larger than life and not-really-defined. It gives the sense that his fears are overwhelming him. I love this all in all--your style of paneling is awesome and isn't too confusing, and it fits together nicely.
AAAAAAAAAAAH, DA POWA OF TWU WUUUUVE!
On the other hand, they're also both running from their fears. That's kinda how they work. If they control your actions, they're controlling you.
At least, that's how I see it.
(ponders this for a while, and then stops because head abruptly starts hurting)
Moscorn's fears turn him suicidal and Frosts's turn him homicidal or something along those lines. Okay. I see. We're going to go back to staring at the computer screen blankly.
Beautiful as always, and holy mother of god his mother is freaking terrifying.
And yeah...Frost's mom...Yeesh.
"You've got to belieeeeeeee-eeeeeeeve... In the POOOOW-ER OF LOVE!"
